I just stumbled across the new Adobe Brilliant microsite, which I found on Vasava’s site, which I found on James White’s blog (each of these links is worth checking out if you haven’t already). Adobe Brilliant is the new CS4 showcase microsite where they are featuring some of the new creative abilities that are being added in this upcoming release. I was especially stoked on some of the new features being showcased on the site, including the new Photoshop z-axis abilities, the new Illustrator blob brush tool, and the new Flash “bones” tool.
All this, plus lots of murmurs around the creative blogosphere about better performance and 64bit support are getting me pretty hyped on the 4th creative suite… which is edging me closer and closer to being one of the early adopters. My only concern at this point is how well the new suite will share files with CS3, as I do quite a bit of PSD and FLA swapping with other designers.
